Onward

Yesterday, July 9, 2018 at 6:03pm, Dr. Srinivasalu called to confirm the diagnosis of juvenile dermatomyositis based on the results of Callaghan's bloodwork and MRI. Tomorrow morning, we will meet with Dr. Arabshahi to determine next steps and start beating the crap out of this disease. 

Today, I registered on CureJM.org, an organization dedicated to funding research and finding a cure for this rare disease. I was immediately contacted by a local parent whose son is also battling this disease. There is some comfort in knowing that we aren't fighting alone.

Tomorrow is the first step towards health. Finally.
